The Supreme Court is supposedly hearing an ACLU case against allowing the display of the 10 Commandments. The media is reporting the story as if there were any mystery here. There is no mystery. The Judges' minds have all been made up since long before the case ever arrived in their court.
First, the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting any expression of religious speech. The only wall between church and state is the prohibition against the establishment of a State Church. There has never been a State Church in the United States, although the establishment of a separate wing of the Federal Government for feminists only comes mighty damned close. But as for a government building displaying the 10 Commandments, this has absolutely nothing to do with establishing an official church.
Despite this, those who hate God with a religious passion will not tolerate anything that has anything to do with Him. Thus, the 10 Commandments, recognized by Christians, Jews, and agnostics alike as the foundation of all Western laws, must be destroyed like a Christian church in the Soviet Union or a Jewish Synagogue in Fascist Germany. All acknowledgement of God must be stamped out. Atheist Socialism is the new State Church. Not admitting that it is a religion doesn't change the facts, but as I've said in this blog before, they never let facts get in the way of their dogma.
So here is how I predict it will end up. The Supreme Court will rule as it always rules, 5-4 against the First Amendment. They will offer up all sorts of ridiculous arguments and may even quote laws from Europe to excuse this blatant violation of the Bill of Rights. But no force on this Earth will stop them from ruling against the Bill of Rights, because at least 5 of our Supreme Court judges consider the rights of the People to be an obstacle to socialism. It was a group of Christian white male heterosexuals who created the concept of civil rights, and those who worship at the altar of the State have been trying to stamp them out ever since.
Just remember, the Nazi party in Germany was the National Socialist Party. The enslavement and attempt at killing all who disagreed was not limited to the Nazis. All socialist governments have been guilty of attacking everyone who dissents, even to the point of mass murder. They are just like the militant Muslims in this way. Don't tell me socialism isn't a religion. It is a militant, murderous religion of deadly intolerance.
